Jud and Tamara Henry Medical Fund

Almost exactly a year ago in July, 2014, Tamara Henry was involved in a horrific car accident that caused her significant injuries. While she was stopped waiting in traffic at the Hood Canal Bridge, a truck rear-ended her car. Her son Aaron was in the car and was also injured. The accident caused her neck and back injuries and after further tests, a "closed brain injury" was diagnosed. This injury manifests itself in intermittent symptoms such as difficulties in speech, cognitive skills, short term memory loss, balance, grasp, vision, head aches, and more. One of the biggest issues Tamara is dealing with is being "overwhelmed." Noise, light, and motion are overstimulating, as well as things like long phone calls, unscheduled visits and groups of people.
At the present, she is going to Seattle for medical and physical therapy treatment multiple times every week. She is also doing therapy at home every day.
As a result of this traumatic injury and by direction of her doctors, Tamara has had to curtail most of the activities that she loves to do throughout the week. Even though the accident occurred a year ago, her Doctors are saying that she has at least two more years of treatment to be fully recovered. Her injuries have impacted her daily life in so many ways that we who are healthy probably take for granted.
The main reason for this fundraiser campaign is, as a result of the accident, the Henry's are in debt for medical bills in the tens of thousands of dollars. They have these debts regardless of the fact that Judson has been working full time as a carpenter.
Tamara and Jud are a Godly, Christian couple who need our help to get them out of this financial situation. Over many years they have given a tremendous portion of their time and dedication to Operation Christmas Child, Home School teaching, testing, mentoring, and support, and volunteering in the Royal Rangers ministry at Gateway Fellowship in Poulsbo.
They have given up their time to support others, so now, we have an opportunity to give them our support by prayer and financial donations. Please join me in this effort! Thank you and may The Lord bless you for your generosity!
