Shave my beard

Sex trafficking is a massive issue around the world - nearly two million children are in the commercial sex trade, and this issue generates roughly around $150 billion a year. The majority of victims of trafficking come from backgrounds of poverty, and once trafficked, victims find themselves facing violence as a constant threat. International Justice Mission's (IJM) response is to combat this issue by rescuing victims who are caught in this industry by working with local police forces around the world, they bring the criminals to justice, restore the survivors - IJM creates individual treatment plans for each survivor, provide trauma counselling, and parter with excellent aftercare homes, and then they strengthen the justice systems in the location they are working in. This is an issue that I am extremely passionate about and I have decided to put my beard of one year and three months on the line. If the proper amount is raised, I will shave my beard. All the funds will go towards IJM Canada. Donations will help to fund these rescue missions around the world.This is an issue where we as North Americans cannot sit idle. We need to help this cause.
