Estrada Family

In the early hours of Sunday, 11/26/17, tragedy and devastation hit the Estrada family. An unmerciful fire emerged and took the life of our beloved Grandma (Celia) Estrada and left Francisco with 41% of his body burned. In an instant the place they both called home for over 50 years had perished and a precious life was lost. Francisco is currently in the burn unit at Herman Memorial just beginning a very long road to recovery. Fran spent so many years caring for his parents. He touches all whom he comes into contact with. I cannot tell you of all the outpourings we have had from community members and friends showing support and wanting to help. Fran was such a selfless man with a huge heart and a love for softball. He loves his family and always had sports playing on the tv. He lives a simple life with his best friend by his side always, his dog, Bully. Grandma Estrada loved her family more than anything else. She was a housewife as well as a cancer survivor and was a devout member of her church. Although she was unable to attend regularly she tithed always. She always offered a kind word and never hesitated to tell anyone how handsome or beautiful they were. Her smile was amazing and her laugh was contagious. The family has many decisions left to make and a long road ahead of them as well. Along the way there will be numerous large, abrupt financial burdens. We are starting this gofundme account so the family can have some relief and help in these very hard times. These types of things are so sudden and unexpected, the loss and burden are so much to bear. Any donation will be much appreciated and will help so much more than you think. Juvencio Estrada Jr is Fran's brother and he will bear the burden of all of these expenses and decisions. Anything that you can give will help lighten his load.
