Hey there ,
I’ve hesitated & procrastinated multiple times on creating this but closed mouths won’t get fed. I am a black transitioning transgender woman whose currently trying to move out into her own & start her new life.
A few months ago I’ve recently made the decision to start my journey as a trans woman by coming out to my family, friends, and social media platforms.. Unfortunately, my current situation is struggling with processing & accepting this decision for me to live my life authentically.. Therefore, I can’t fully begin anything until I’m living own. It is very hard for me to find a job where I’m welcomed and won’t be judged for who I am and what I Identify as , or something they don’t understand or want to understand....
This money would help give me the jumpstart I need to begin the necessary steps to HRT & physically transitioning such my top surgery! I wish to also my own apartment, and continue to find and build stable income so that I won’t have to depend on anyone...

- Zaria I was stopped by a officer one night and they asked to see my I.D then he started to ask me why I was wearing a wig and was I trying to disguise myself because I did something bad , I then told the officer I am trans and he told his partner to search me for any weapons or drugs , they made me detach my wig and they shook it , I am deeply hurt by this and the fact they approached me with their weapons drawn shows they have no respect or don’t care for our skin color. Omaha Police Department You need to do better.
