Hi, my name is Tyshawn Walker, and I’m reaching out for support in a heartbreaking situation. I am a father who has been denied the chance to be a part of my newborn daughter’s life. The mother of my daughter, who I am no longer in a relationship with, is preventing me from seeing her because I chose to walk away from the relationship. Despite my deep love for my child and my desire to be a present, active father, I am being unfairly kept from her.

I am devastated by this situation, and every day feels like a constant struggle. My heart aches to be there for her, to hold her in my arms, and to watch her grow. But right now, I am unable to do so, and I need help to fight for my rights as a father.

update: mom has allowed me to visit our daughter now on a controlled time of 2hrs a day. She’s also asking that the courts give me 2 hrs a day Monday, Wednesday and Friday which is only 6 hrs a week! Not because I’m a bad dad because she knows I’m not.
