在2018年2月17日晚犹他华人春节晚会上，发生了一起很不幸的事故，歌手郭赞女士不幸受伤。社区的很多朋友对郭女士的情况很关注，纷纷表示慰问与祝福，并为她祈祷。春晚组委会对此表示深深的感谢。事故发生后，春晚组委会紧急联系急救单位，并协助急救人员紧急把她送到了附近医院。经过手术后，现在郭赞女士情况稳定，但她需要一段时间来继续治疗和康复。必要时，春晚组委会、盐湖城华助中心会在中国驻美大使馆的帮助下，协助郭女士在中国的亲人来美国照顾郭女士。为帮助郭女士顺利完成治疗和尽早康复，春晚组织工作的参与团体盐湖城华助中心和犹他州中国旅美科协共同发起向郭女士献爱心的募捐活动，希望大家踊跃支持。犹他春晚组委会再次衷心感谢各界朋友的大力支持和对郭女士的真诚关心与祝福
During the 2018 Utah Chinese New Year Celebration performances on the evening of February 17, 2018 at Cottonwood High School, a tragic accident happened to our beautiful soloist, Ms. Zan Guo. Many members and friends of the Utah Chinese community have expressed kind sympathy for and support to Ms. Guo and have prayed for her speedy recovery. The Organizing Committee of the 2018 Utah Chinese New Year Celebration express sincere gratitude to you all! After the tragic accident, the Organizing Committee immediately called medical rescuers and assisted them in sending Ms. Guo to the nearby hospital. Following an overnight surgery, Ms. Guo has been in very stable condition. But she would need time for a full recovery. When needed, the Organizing Committee and the Utah Chinese Civic Center, with the help of the Chinese Embassy, will assist Ms. Guo's family members in China to come to the U.S. to help take care of Ms. Guo during her recovery. To help Ms. Guo complete her treatments towards full recovery, Utah Chinese Civic Center and Chinese Association for Science & Technology in Utah, participating organizations of the 2018 Utah Chinese New Year Celebration, have jointly launched this fund raiser and encourage members of the Utah Chinese community and friends everywhere to donate to the Recovery Fund for Ms. Guo. The Organizing Committee once again sincerely thank friends everywhere for your loving concerns for and support to Ms. Guo.
