Zanders hope for walking

Donation protected
In 2016 Zander's life changed in a big way.  He was involved in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the nipples down.  Even after undergoing back surgery and hundreds of physical therapy, chiropractic sessions, horseback riding and swimming  he has recovered only a very small portion of feeling.

He recently went through a training session locally with loaner equipment that shot electrical current through his muscles with the hope that he could recover enough movement to maybe go to a walker.  There was some success as a few times they gauged that he was doing some of the work, not just the equipment triggering it.

Zander has the opportunity now to go to Louisville, KY this summer (they leave the 18th of June, the treatment has been approved by insurance) to a walking program there.  Zander is only 6 at this time.

This will require he and I (his mother) to travel to Louisville and stay at the Ronald McDonald house  and transport daily to treatment.

The cost is $20.00 a day plus they will have to eat breakfast and lunch out.   There will be expenses for additional physical therapy that will also have to be paid out of pocket.  The funds raised here will help to cover some of those costs.

I am cash strapped as I need to purchase a modified vehicle in the near future as he is getting to heavy to physically transfer him.

Any funds you can spare will help, whether it is a dollar or ten.

Thank you.
