Zanabee's Restaurant

I met my good friend Zanabee while traveling last year. Together our hope is to found a small restaurant in Lalibela, Ethiopia. This will be a space for locals to eat traditional food, drink and come together. A quality service experience currently reserved only for tourists. Zanabee was my guide as I trekked around the Amhara region. He is a good guide, a great cook but it's his honest, affable personality that really drives this aspiration to establish a place for the locals. But he can't do it alone.

Business Plan: Zanabee's business will be self-financing in 12 months. He will serve local food to locals, creating 6 jobs and having a big impact in a town such as Lalibela. A restaurant can serve as a source of income for not just the owner, but the employees, produce suppliers and vendors. 

What do we need: We needs 5,000 € as seed capital. Most of this start-up capital flows into the purchase or refrigeration, rent, electricity, renovation, and furnishing for the business. 

What's in it for you: I will supervise the project with Zanabee. He is extremely purposeful and organized and trustworthy. Even if you could contribute 20 € it would have a direct, real-world impact on an individual looking to change his community.
