Zakat for the Less Fortunate in Afghanistan

I will be traveling to Kandahar, Afghanistan in about 3 weeks, In Shaa Allah (God Willing). This will be my first time visiting Afghanistan and there's nothing that would make me happier than giving back to my country and the beautiful people in it.
