Zack Talbert recovery fund

Zack Talbert is a loving husband, darling son, encouraging brother, a dedicated friend, a talented mechanic, and an avid lover of all things outdoors (especially hunting and bass fishing).  Zack and his wife Tiffany are high school sweethearts and have been married for 11 years.

 

On September 11, 2018, (his 35th birthday) Zack began to experience a debilitating headache.  He went to bed in pain thinking it would pass.  Later that night, Zack experienced a massive right hemisphere cerebral vascular accident (CVA/stroke).  Zack has also experienced a carotid artery dissection which is believed to have caused the stroke.  This condition is very rare in non-trauma situations and puts him at risk for additional complications.    Zack is currently in critical care where the physicians are monitoring him closely for brain bleeding and swelling.  Due to his stroke, Zack has paralysis on the left side of his body.  He will need EXTENSIVE medical care and rehabilitation to regain the function on the left side of his body. 

 

This page has been set up in order to help raise money to be used towards Zack’s medical bills.  The money will also assist with Zack and Tiffany’s daily expenses since they will both be off work during this difficult time.  Zack’s company has been very supportive, but Zack and Tiffany still have financial obligations that will need their attention.  Tiffany is a contracted occupational therapist and does not have any paid time off benefits.  Additionally, Zack has always been able to financially contribute more during the times when Tiffany was unable to work due to her own health needs associated with her battle against Crohn’s and Colitis.  The needs are great, but we know that God will provide for them each step of the way.
