Zacks road to recovery

On Saturday the 14th of December, 29 year old husband and father Zack jumped into a pool and hit his head, resulting in neck and spinal damage at multiple levels (his C1&2, C6&7 and T2,3 and 5 vertebrae).
Zack was taken by Ambulance to Karratha hospital and a short time later he was airlifted to Royal Perth where he remains being treated by the State Spinal Team.
Zack is a happy go lucky bloke, most recognized for his glorious mullet which he's been sporting for 7 years.
Part of Zacks treatment has been a Halo Ring and vest which needs to be worn 24/7 for the next 3 months - which has meant the Mullet is gone!
After discharge, a 2 -3 week stay in Perth is required until he is deemed stable enough to fly back home to Victoria.
At present, spinal cord damage is still a potential threat that doctors are treating with caution.
Zack will need full-time care whilst in Perth from nurses and his wife.
Medical care will then be handed over to Melbourne, where doctors will decide if surgery is required after his 3 months in the vest.
The hospital is no place for a baby, so the Adam family is without their 10-month-old daughter currently in family care and it is likely they will be spending their daughter's first Christmas in the hospital away from her.
This has devastated the young family in every way, especially being a week from Christmas and they need your help.
The funds will be used to support the Adam family on the road to recovery. It will enable my sister to remain in Perth to care for her husband, cover the costs of their living and assist looking after baby Grace from 2 states away.
Zack will be unable to work for a minimum of 3 months and this will also assist with their living costs once home and Zack is unable to financially support his family.
Zack is conscious and the doctors have ruled out paraplegia, pending no spinal cord damage. This is helping Zacks spirits however he is missing his daughter like crazy and is in and out of sleep most of the time.
