On or about Oct 23rd, 2020, he fell sick, vomiting with high fever and coughing; even he walked into a local private hospital at Nyangusu in Bobasi-Kisii Kenya, and was admitted for further medical treatment.
For a whole week, he was being given pain killers and cold water to lower his temperature, with no proper diagnosis performed.
Family members and his wife made a decision to remove him from that facility 4 days after admission at Kemo and transfer him to Kisii District Hospital.
The owner of that Kemo hospital refused to issue a Referral Letter.
Family members including His son and a nephew and myself organized an ambulance and forcefully removed him from that facility (Kemo).
Since the family did not have a referral Letter, Zack could not be admitted at Kisii Districk Hospital.
The only alternative was to take him to another local small hospital in Kisii (Ramu) where he died less than 8 hours later.
As a family, we are hiring a lawyer to help us sue Kemo hospital facility.
Zack could have been alive today, had that local Nyangusu hospital given the family a referral letter they requested 3 days before he died.
No human being can be left with a high fever, difficulty breathing, coughing and chest pains for more than 7 days after admission and Kemo hospital did nothing nothing meaningful medically to safe his life. No oxygen was administered!
Following Zack's death, his wife Jenesi, son Momanyi and daughters are mentally disturbed, tortured and cannot find answers to this unfortunate death!
Zack"s family humbly requests your help from all well-wishers to help bury him and hire expert lawyers to sue all those involved in this medical neglect and malpractices and hospital abuse.
Hopefully, Zack's death will serve as a lesson to all medical personnel, so they handle patients with the prober diagnosis and medication patients need!
