<div>I am a survivor of a hit-and-run accident while riding my motorcycle, which most of you know most times results in death, but thankfully I’m living. In just those few seconds, my life changed completely. I suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg fibula and tibia that now has two titanium metal rods with bolts in it, and a puncture wound in my other leg along with other miscellaneous body pains and aches as to be expected. The pain has been overwhelming, and recovery will be a long and difficult journey.

<div>I'm new to the motorcycle scene. I’ve barely been riding 10 months, about 11k miles on the street, and a lot of people will have their opinion on what I could have done better to try not to get hit, but it happened. The driver went through a solid red light, hit me, and ran. I was involved with a few ride-outs here and there and met quite a few cool people so far, and I’ll be back once I’m all healed up. I want to remind everyone to gear up always like I did and to ride safe. All my gear saved my life and gave me the best possible chance of survival with minimal damage. I walked away with body aches, bruises, and a broken tibia and fibula. I'm glad it wasn’t worse. Be safe, brothers and sisters.
