Zachary Roundtree Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared and sent heartfelt sympathy to Zach’s family. We hit our first goal, but let’s not stop there. Please keep sharing.
Here is a message from his Mom.
“Zachary is my heart and soul. Living without his infectious laugh, love of life and adventure is going to be a struggle. There are no words adequate to let you know how thankful we are for your generous help. Zachary is the love of my life! I'm sorry if I have not expressed my gratitude.”

On Saturday March 3rd, Zachary Roundtree lost his life in an avalanche while snowmobiling in Kittitas County. He was an outdoor enthusiast, Air Force Veteran, and loved surrounding himself with his friends and family. Even though he passed away while doing something he loved, his family and friends will forever feel the pain of his absence.

This fund will be used to support a service to honor Zachary’s life. Any additional contributions will go to the emotional healing of his family.

Our goal is to provide as much financial support to Zachary’s family as possible in their time of grief.

There is a memorial set up at the Buckley Veteran’s Memorial, for those who would like to visit and leave a note in remembrance of Zachary.

We will be holding Zachary’s funeral on Sunday March 11th at 1:30pm to whenever at the Buckley Eagles. As sad as we are to have to plan and hold this event, we invite anyone who would like to come and celebrate his life that was taken too soon! All are welcome! We will have his service and then we will party our pants off until the last person falls. The attire for the service will be causal, romeos, boots and flannels. Jorts with ties and suspenders are acceptable because that is what Zachary would wear.

If you would to view Zachary and one last goodbye then it will be on Saturday March 10th from 4-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home in Buckley WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can go to BLPD fallen officers fund, wounded warriors fund and to East Pierce Fire and Rescue.
