Zac and Elfie's Epic Forest Wedding

On September 9, 2018, after 8 years, Zac Lopez and Elfie Nelson are finally doing the thing and getting hitched.
Over the past two years, we have been planning our dream wedding - epic, beautiful, with our closest friends and family spending an evening celebrating in the wilderness. We began to sense that we would never find a venue that matched our vision, and even if we did, we would never be able to afford it.
Then, unbelievably, we found it. The Mendocino Woodlands Camp is a gorgeous group campground that has done many weddings. This place is perfect. Don't believe me? Check out their Instagram.
The time to book is now, since the camps are already filling up for this time next year. After we make the reservation, we have 21 days to sign the contract and hand over 25% of the total cost plus a $500 deposit. This amounts to roughly $1500.
Elfie has just started grad school and Zac recently opened up his business - big steps, but steps which leave us unable to come up with the money to book our perfect venue.
This is where you come in. Instead of a wedding gift, we would like to humbly ask for your financial help. We have so many wonderful friends, I just know that if each of you donated just a little we could get this amount quickly. If our lovely friends and family are even more generous, the extra funds beyond the booking fee will go into a general wedding fund, where it will help turn this beautiful wilderness and campground into an epic wedding venue.
The formal request will go in Thursday, September 28, 2017. So the deadline for this fundraiser is October 19. We know we can do it!
