This is Obi! (Named after Star Wars Obi Wan Kenobi) he is 3 months old and the sweetest little kitty.

We adopted him 3 weeks ago from the shelter. From the start, he was very laid back but super loving. My kids instantly loved him. We had been wanting a cat for awhile. I have never owned a cat before, so we got everything we could for him and were so excited.

This past week, Obi stopped eating and just wanted to sleep. We knew something had to be wrong and rushed him to the vet. $700 later, we were told he has feline leukemia virus. They told us we could do blood transfusions to prolong or euthanize him.

We knew nothing of this diagnosis, but after further research and help from a Facebook group of amazing Cat owners, we found out Obi’s life doesn’t have to be cut short.

We have bought immune system boosters and iron to try to give Obi a chance. He is currently very anemic with an RBC of 14.

Sweet Obi is battling feline leukemia and needs our help to get the vet treatments he desperately needs. This loving cat deserves a chance to live comfortably and enjoy his days. Your kindness can make a real difference in Obi's life, giving him the care and hope he needs to fight this illness.
