Hey guys, this is Jordan Howard son of Gail Howard. Over the past few months, my mother has experienced numerous unforunate events that has ultimaely led me to start a GoFundMe page for her. Without going into too much detail, I will try my best to explain why I am reaching out to those around me for help.
On November 24, 2017, the night before my Senior Night Game versus Colorado my mother was involved in a car accident that left her with a broken back, ribs, tibia, and ankle. Before she was able to fully heal from her injuries, she was scheduled for another brain surgery.
Right now she is currently fighting the long-term battle against Pseudotumor cerebri. For the past 12 months, her brain has believed to have a non-existent tumor. With 3 brain surgeries under her belt, the most recent being on January 23, 2018; it is becoming more and more difficult for her to do all of the things she was once able to do .As a result of everything going on with her body, my mother has been unable to function properly, unable to work, and unable to provide for herself or my younger sister.
At this point, I am reaching out to those around me to help in any way that they possibly can. My mother is well known in the community, she is always the first person to help others and give back to the community. She has started organizations such as Shop with a Cop. Now that she is in need I am hoping and praying that our friends, family, and community can help her.
