Help a Widowed Mother and Her Children Rebuild Their Home for Ramadan

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but today I am asking for help not for myself — for a family who truly has no one left to turn to.

A devastating house fire destroyed the home of a widowed mother and her children. Overnight, they lost everything: their belongings, their safety, and the place they felt secure. Since then, they have been living in extremely difficult conditions, without proper beds and without a safe place to rest.

To make matters even harder, the children’s father — the sole breadwinner of the family — has passed away. This mother is now carrying the entire burden alone.

She is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. Even after everything she has been through, she still only sees good in others and never complains about her situation. She worries about her children, not herself. Watching her struggle while still trying to stay strong for her kids is heartbreaking.

I could not stand by and do nothing. I have personally started rebuilding their home using my own savings and whatever help I could gather. My intention was to have a safe, liveable house ready for them before Ramadan so they could spend it with dignity and peace.

Unfortunately, I have now reached a point where I simply cannot continue alone.

We are still unable to even complete the roofing. Without a roof, the house cannot be lived in. The family remains in a terrible living situation as we speak, and time is running short.
