Our sister Vanessa Smith has recently been diagnosed with a rare and serious cancer. She is 28 years old and has two boys, a 5-year-old and a 4-year-old. She has also been a great role model and mother figure for three other children that call her mom. She has a great passion for her community. She has worked in various positions in the community to assist those with substance abuse. Always taking the calls when they need help and driving them to their appointments
Vanessa was diagnosed with a rare cancer and just finished having an extensive surgery. Although insurance covers the cost of the surgery, we are asking for your assistance in helping her cover out of pocket expenses she will be encountering while beginning her journey to recovery, especially since she will be unable to work while recovering from surgery. Chemotherapy and radiation treatments will need to be done either out of state or 250 miles from home, which means additional living expenses. 100% of the proceeds will be used to cover her current and long-term medical expenses.
