Help Lilli May (Tony & Julia May)
Donation protected
On June 26 while Julia May was driving she saw something suspicious; a moving bag on the side of the road. Concerned, she pulled over and investigated. Inside the bag were 4 dogs; the mother and her 3 puppies. Sadly, only one puppy was alive. With the help of a kind stranger the deceased dogs were buried and the puppy went home with Julia. Tony and Julia welcomed this little puppy into their hearts and home; they named her Lilli. 4 days later the puppy did not seem well and she was rushed to the veterinarian. After testing it was learned that the puppy had parvo, a very
deadly disease with no quick cure. Two options were presented, euthanize the very sick puppy or do whatever it takes to get her well; Tony and Julia chose the latter. It was touch and go for several days, often looking grim. Thankfully, Lilli is a fighter and after 8 nights at a specialty veterinary hospital she came home. The bill for Lilli's care was a staggering $11,500, yet Tony and Julia paid it to get their new puppy well.
The Mays's are always the first people in line to help those in need. If there is a fundraiser, they attend. If they can't attend they still donate. When a family close to them lost everything they set up a fundraiser. I have personally known Tony for years and have always admired his big heart and kind spirit. In the short time that I have known Julia I have often been impressed at her generosity and selfless acts of kindness she commits. I know this bill is a financial burden, yet I have not heard one complaint. This is just what the May's do.
Please, let’s return the favor. If anybody deserves help it is Tony and Julia May.
