My name is Kelly, I am Kathy’s youngest daughter creating this gofund me to help with medical bills.
Kathy was first diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer in December of 2015. After going through 3 cycles of chemo, surgery, followed by 3 more cycles, in August 2016 she went in remission. Unfortunately, May of 2017 the cancer came back in a different location leaving surgery out of the question. Chemo is solely our only hope at this time to treat.
My parents have been married for 36 years. Our dad is a retired Marine and still working, his is the only income they have to help pay medical bills. As you can imagine it is hard to do on your own and insurance will only cover so much. He has been by her side every step of the way, being an amazing husband helping her and caring for her. All donations will be used to pay medical bills that keep growing and could keep her from getting treatment she needs if they are not paid.
Growing up she has always been the mom in the neighborhood who welcomed in every kid with open arms. She took care of everyone as if they were her own. If anyone needed help she would do everything in her power to help. Now a grandmother to 7, these grandkids want to see their amazing grandma get all the help she needs.
