#LISASHOPE #CHRONICREGIONALPAINSYNDROME

44094322_1581565522779238_r.jpegAt the suggestion of some of friends, I'm setting this up in hopes for help. Right now I am in a very tough time in my life. My health has taken a turn this year. Some of you do know that I have CRPS 1 which is a neurological disease with no cure. Here is partial list of what I'm dealing with.
STAGE THREE: Stage three is called the atrophic stage and can last an unlimited amount of time. Typically if a patient has CRPS for a period of 3+ years, the data seems to indicate their pain level remains fairly constant after that, barring any further incident/injury which could of course, cause an exacerbation of the disease and even a possible spread.

Pain, as usual, is typically constant but can increase or decrease, depending on the person. The CRPS may spread to other parts of the body. At this stage irreversible tissue damage may occur. Skin becomes cool, thin, and shiny. Contraction of the extremity may occur as well as atrophy of the limb (decreased joint movement). Skin atrophies (wasting away) and loss of movement or mobility may also occur. X-Rays may show marked demineralization and increased osteoporosis. At this stage many CRPS patients are not likely to be effectively treated with blocks as the percentage of SIP (Sympathetically Independent Pain) is now much greater than the percentage of SMP (Sympathetically Mediated Pain); meaning the majority of the pain signals are now originating in the brain and not at the original CRPS site where a local block would help. in addition to this,  the disease has spread to my jaw and head. I have been diagnosed with corneal edema, which in time we'll be corrected by a corneal transplant. I've tried to hide it for many years, but can no longer do that. Getting an otrthodic for my top teeth, my jaw muscles need to be retained. So grateful that a pair of Dr's decided to open clinic in GF. Specialists in CRPS! See here in ND for consult. The treatments I will travel to get them in Fargo. This disease is exhausting me physically, mentally and financially. Even if you can share this You will be helping. I am not writing to ask for money, but I do need help. Most of you that know me well, know that I would give the shirt off of my back if you needed it. If you find it in your heart to help me , it would be appreciated more than you'll ever know. I want too make memories,  I want to live b4 I die. By donating you will be helping me improve the quality of my life.

Please share, and thank you for taking the time to read 44094322_1576303489208811_r.jpeg
