Please Help Terry Beat Cancer

Terry began to feel tightness of chest, had a persistent cough, and shortness of breath for approximately a month. Doctors diagnosed him with bronchitis, and issued inhalers. This peristed for over a month.
On Wednesday, November 1, Terry felt shortness of breath while at work. He went to his physician, where he was immediately transported to the hospital by ambulance. Terry remained in the hospital for three weeks.
Thinking he had a heart issue, the doctors preformed a chest x-ray. The x-rays reveiled a 4.5cm mass in his right lung. There was also fluid around his lungs and heart. They diagnosed the mass and fluid as stage 4 small cell lung cancer. During the coarse of 21 days in the hospital, many procedures were done. Terry developed blood clots, and the mass grew larger, pinching off an artery. They put a stent in to keep the artery open. They had to cut two drain windows into the cardiac sack, to relieve the pressure from his heart. Eventually, they sent him home with a generic form of chemotherapy to try.
We are optimistically keeping all options open as far as all alternative treatments, that are not covered by insurance. We are also reaching out to Cancer Treatment Centers of America. Their closest location is Pheonix, Arizona, and is not covered by insurance.
Doctors have given Terry 2-6 months without treatment, and up to a year using only the generic chemotherapy. This is why we are so urgent in asking for your help to seek other treatment. Cancer Treatment Centers of America have doctors who specialize in this form of cancer. We are also looking to Stanford and UCSF for any other treatment options.
Terry is expecting his first grandson in March, whom we would love to see him get to meet. Terry is only 54 years young. He is a loving husband and father to three wonderful sons. Terry is fun loving, and the youngest of us three brothers.
