We are raising money to benefit the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home Preservation Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. We do not receive any state, local or federal funding. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our community.
Ronald Reagan’s leadership skills and love of country began as a child in Dixon, Illinois, where he spent his formative years. This small mid-western town instilled the morals, values and ethics into a young boy that he would carry with him throughout his life and eventually lead him to the Presidency of the United States – twice.
With the passage of time, hundreds of thousands of visitors and the northern Illinois winters have all taken their toll on the property. The Foundation has completed several necessary restoration projects and we have several more maintenance projects pending. The estimated financial need to complete the needed repairs exceeds our available funds. It is our hope that you will consider supporting us with a donation to the Foundation so that we may preserve the historic significance of the home and honor the legacy of Ronald Wilson Reagan.
In doing this, we hope to preserve the historic site for years to come as it is a great source of education for any and all local schools, of any age. At the same time we are promoting tourism, our local economy, and overall a better living experience for those in the community.
