In 1996 my mother moved into this house to begin a journey of wellbeing for her children. Located in University City, MO, she rented this house, bringing her two daughters with her. Having her third child, a son in '97, this house became a monumental space for the family.
Over 15 years, she has promptly paid rent, while also providing a better life for her children. Needless to say, she has succeeded in the travels and raised a wonderful family, with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
With her final child finishing school, she began the dreams of finishing her education and owning a house. Attending her first semester of undergraduate at the tender age of 56, for Administrative Assistant at the University of Phoenix, the next step is buying the house she started it all in.
With an asking price of $21,000 we only ask for $7,000 to assist in the initial buying price. Putting well over $7,000 into the home during her tenure, she has made this place a special home within our family, and has a dream of making it a place to call our own.
My mother, Augustine Underwood, has always been a determined and inspired human, that goal in life is to show women, no matter the roadblocks, with planning and will, the world can be yours. No matter the time, moving at your own pace and faith, you can achieve anything you put your mind too. She has been nothing but an inspiration to her children and to the world around her.
