"Lito" was born with special needs but our Heavenly Father saw fit to give him the ability and desire to take care of himself. He graduated from high school. He served an LDS mission and afterwords worked to maintain full time employment.

In August of 1982 he married Collette Anderson and accepted all the duties and responsibilities that marriage brings. He and Collette eventually bought a home and settled in to raise their family in West Jordan Utah . They adopted their daughter Christina and years later their son, Elijah.

Lito gave up the carefree days of youth for all the work and responsibility of adulthood, something none of us expected him to do but something he knew
deep down inside he must do. He worked as a bus driver for school children, the elderly and handicapped center.

Lito was brave, hardworking, non-judgmental, sensitive, a peacemaker, humble and genuinely kind.  He possessed all the noble qualities we only dream of having. His sweet smile and gentle soul will be missed by many.

Please help us reach our goal and lighten the load of funeral expenses for Rafael Chavez and this sweet family. All proceeds will go to his wife and children. Thank you!
