My brother David Stark was diagnosed with Pancreatitis back in 1989... After years of this disease his Pancrease has finally shut down and has completely calcified... This is a horribly painful disease which causes back pain, diabetes, weight loss and organ failure ... We are scheduled to bring him to U of M Hospital February 23rd... Surgery is the 26th were they will remove his entire Pancrease and the First part of the small intestine...This is a 6 1/2 hour surgery that is very high risk at this time they will also put in a feeding tube... Hospital stay will be 10 days... With staying near U of M for a following 8 weeks... He is also per request of the surgeon to miss 6 months of employment after surgery... Funds will go for 8 weeks stay after surgery and other medical expenses.... He is an amazing Father, Son, and Brother... All donations will go directly to David...Thank you for all donations made ...
