United for Puerto Rico

Hello everyone. Hurricanes Irma and Maria have destroyed Puerto Rico. The destruction left behind has crippled the land and people. They are without power throughout the entire island and expect to be for approximately 5 more months to a year. They are also without drinking water, food and other basic supplies necessary in order for survival during these trying times. I have started this goFundme account in order to help my people back home in Puerto Rico. It is the least I can do. I hope you will help me with this task.

This account is set up in hopes of providing MEDICAL NECESSITIES. There are 13 hospitals (only) that are BARELY functioning at the present time throughout the ENTIRE island. 

I am also collecting goods- food, water, toiletries, batteries, etc. If you wish to donate any items PLEASE contact me personally at [email redacted] and I will direct you to our drop off site. If you have giant loads of donations you are unable to bring to the drop off site, we do have trucks at our disposal.

I take this VERY personal. This is my HOME. Let's send relief to the island. I am personally travelling there with a team to take supplies and help my people.

To my fellow Boricuas, this too shall pass. Puerto Rico will rise up! It's the African blood that runs through our veins, the Taino spirit that fuels our soul, the Spaniard drive that doesn't give up.
