Adoption Costs

On 17 August 2017 our lives changed forever.  My wife and I were asked if we could adopt a 2 and 3 year old brother and sister whose parents weren't able to care for them; Aurora and Zaedyn. Of course, we agreed and literally three days later we met the kids, were legally named legal guardians, and brought them home with us.  They came to us with all of their belongings in a black trash bag and nothing more; but they were safe. Since that day, my wife has quit her job to stay home with Aurora due to severe behavioral issues; Zaedyn attends daycare and is doing well. On 16 March 2018 if all goes well, Aurora and Zaedyn will be in their forever home with Michelle and I and our daughter, Kristin. However, even though we were asked to adopt the children, we still are responsible for paying all applicable adoption and legal fees totalling near $19,000. The Lord has truly blessed us with these two angels but the adoption and legal fees place our family in financial distress. Any assistance we may receive is greatly appreciated.
