To all my family and Friends,
I hope this message finds you healthy and well. As I’ve never been in this situation, I am a bit unclear as to what to write, bear with me. As you know or may not know, my brother KENLUIN IGLESIAS has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. You always hear about MS but never really understand it until it hits home. I am writing regarding this month, which will initiate my first participation in the MS Challenge Walk 2018. This year, the event is a 3-mile event that raises money for and awareness of multiple sclerosis, which affects my brother’s walking and blurred vision today.
MS is a neurological disorder in which the immune system degrades a person's nervous system, causing loss of sensation and control. Ken is one of more than 400,000 people in the U.S. affected with MS, which is a progressive disease, meaning that Ken's condition could worsen in time. It is up to us to do what we can toward treating and curing this condition that affects those closest to us.
I am thankful that I will be able to walk 3 miles while others struggle to walk 3 feet. If you are similarly grateful, then please help me with my challenge to raise $6,000 for this cause. This money will go directly to my brother Ken for his medicine and special glasses he needs. If you can help us achieve this milestone, please visit our Fund me page.
