Help Raise the Woof Relocate

Raise the Woof is a very loving dog daycare, located near Trout Lake on Victoria Drive in Vancouver B.C. Owned and operated by Andrea Grills for the past two years, Raise the Woof has given dogs in the community a safe place to come and be loved. Raise the Woof needs to relocate quickly due to plans to redevelop the property into condos. Unfortunately, the City of Vancouver is ordering an immediate addition of a new fire exit which is at the expense of the daycare. Sadly, the cost of the fire exit exceeds the cost it would be to relocate the daycare, which brings us here to Gofundme.
We have found a wonderful new facility to move our daycare into and our dream is to be able to design a new lovely daycare, with lots of space for our four legged friends to run and play in. This space will also have a small outdoor area which we do not have at our current location.
Our new location is located on Venables, just West of Commercial Drive, very close to Britannia Community Centre and much much more.

Here is what we hope to achieve with the money you generously donate. A large portion of our funds will be going towards building up the walls and gates in our new space to ensure our four legged friends' security. 

- City permits to secure the new facility $2000

- A used van (from Craigslist or Kijiji) for our Taxi pick up and drop offs $500-$1000

- Construction materials for a half wall and partition around the back door, sealer for the concrete floor $1000


- A PawHut 47.2" Home Outdoor Folding Pet Dog Swimming Pool $89.00 for those hot summer days, or just for splashing around

- 2 'pit balls' from puppy playground $95.00 x 2 = $190.00 for those hyperactive dogs that never tire out

- Full puppy playground bridge set est. value of $350.00each (for dogs to play and climb on)
- Puppy 'play go' set $195.00 for running and agility 

- Jamieson outdoor waterproof dog beds $41.29 x 10 = $412.90. Accidents happen, better they happen on a water proof bed. Easy cleaning for us, comfy bed for the dogs.

- The remainder of any funds we receive will be going towards rope toys, 'Galileo' chew bones, and Chuck it 'Floppy tugs' for all the dogs to play with and enjoy.

These materials would be critical to the new day care, to ensure we can give all these dogs the best possible home away from home! Once we have the necessary funds, we will be able to move forward with relocating the daycare into a new and better environment for the dogs.
