Help with Maya’s Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Maya weighed just 15 pounds when she was rescued by the Fremont Police Department on September 11th 2021. Emaciated, weak, and covered in urine and feces, unable to walk, move or even lift her head, Maya barely acknowledged her rescuers. No one knew if she could be saved. But this little girl has been a fighter. With life and hope slowly filling her frail little body through the use of a feeding tube and IV fluids, Maya has gained 5 pounds since her rescue, her energy increases each day, and she finally took her first steps on September 22nd 2021.

Maya has shown curiosity for everything that goes on around her. But this improvement was not possible without a nearly 2 week stay in an emergency veterinary care facility, and she will require months of care and rehabilitation yet to come. Care that is quickly exhausting veterinary budget capabilities. Maya has come so far, yet recovery is still so far away.

Maya deserves the chance to heal and find a family of her own. A family who will show her what it means to be loved. She fought with every ounce of energy she had to survive her previous life and cruel neglect.

Donating to her medical expenses will greatly increase her chance of a full recovery, and hopefully one day very soon Maya will finally experience what it feels like to be a happy and loved family dog. Would you please consider donating and show Maya just how much you care? Thank you!
