Welcome to the City of Laurel's 150th Anniversary Celebration We Are Laurel Page!
The City of Laurel was founded in April of 1870 and here we are 150 years later, thriving and growing!
Laurel's 150th Anniversary is a celebration of the past, but most importantly the future, of the more than 23,000 people who live here today. From a Gala to Fireworks,to a 5K Walk/Run, to a Multi -Cultural Celebration September 26 it will be a very special year in our town.
Although the City of Laurel has budgeted some money for the 150th anniversary celebration, the 150th Committee must raise significant funds to ensure the activities are successful. We need your help.
We encourage all present and past community members to be party of this year's celebration. Laurel is YOU and together We Are Laurel. Our GoFundMe is a way you can show your support. It affirms your pride in the City, its achievements and your belief in its future. Donations of any size are welcomed. All donors will be acknowledged in the "We are Laurel" section of the website.

The Anniversary Committee has also developed a number of sponsorship opportunities.
