Adrian’s Top Surgery Fund

Hello everyone! My name is Adrian and I’m a 22 year old trans guy seeking donations for my top surgery. This is the next step in my transition process, as it would alleviate a lot of my gender dysphoria. I currently bind my chest every day, often for longer than the recommended 8 hours a day. Even when taking all safety precautions while binding, it is still not the best for my physical health. Without this surgery, my mental health will suffer even more. I am not comfortable as I am, my dysphoria consumes me and prevents me from living freely. I can’t even feel comfortable in my own home because I can’t go without binding.

I have scheduled my top surgery with Dr. Garramone for January 5, 2021. The surgery fee is $8,000 and there is an additional hospital fee of $2,275, plus $300 that I have to pay for the breast tissue pathology fee. All together, that is $10,575. Now, if all goes well, I should be able to use my insurance to pay for a portion of the surgery. After insurance is applied, this is still an expensive process. As a recent graduate in the midst of a pandemic, I simply do not have this kind of money so I am asking for some help. If you are able and willing to donate, I appreciate you immensely.
