<div> Hello everyone I'm Mohammed Aldaghma, and my family lived in Northern Gaza before the assault. We are a close family and had happy lives despite living under occupation, but now we are just trying to survive.

<div> My sister Reena (20) was studying to be a pharmacist. My brothers Khader (21) and Mahmoud (23) wanted to attend college. My mother Hanan (55) is a talented pastry chef and had dreams of owning her own bakery. My four nieces and nephews just wanted to have a childhood and attend school.

<div> Thankfully, I was in Belgium when the genocide started, so I have been able to advocate for my family here and help them escape. Before this, I studied law in Gaza and had hoped to be a humanitarian lawyer to help other Gazans, but now that dream feels so far away. The University in Gaza I attended doesn’t exist anymore after the bombs.
