Help a vet with cancer.

Hi my name is Nick Gentile the picture you are seeing is of me and my wife DJ from a few years ago. Approximately three months ago I fractured my back splitting splitting firewood and upon seeking medical treatment for it I found out I have prostate cancer that has jumped into my spine. My health has gone downhill ever since. I have started cancer treatment which consists of shutting down my testosterone because prostate cancer feeds on it. There is no cure for prostate cancer all they can do is try to stop it from spreading more which in turn might give me 2-5 more years we hope and pray. I am a veteran  and I served as a medic in the US Army from 1966-1969. I have always tried to be a good person helping others when and where I can. I have two children from my first marriage that ended in a divorce and I raised our two children. Years later our children's  mother was murdered by an ex boyfriend. I remarried and after five years of marriage my second wife was diagnosed with MS. Long story short after 17 years  and spending two IRA accounts and all my savings plus selling my house and using all that money we lost the battle and MS took her. I have now been married to my third wife almost 13 wonderful years. I have been a self employed carpenter now for 45 years and have had to stop working since I fractured my back. I have never been on unemployment, food stamps, welfare or any other type of government assistance. When I was 21 years old I asked my mother to borrow $25.00 she told me I was a grown man,  a father, a husband you should not ever be asking anyone for help and made me feel like the lowest life form on earth for even asking then she  gave me the money and said don't ever ask me again. I paid her back on payday and never asked anyone for money again which means this is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. We live on my social security benefits and my wife continues to work part time however she has been missing a lot of work caring for me and taking me to doctor appointments and driving me two hours each way to our closest VA urgent care. I had to be admitted for 3 days due to needing a blood transfusion then my prostate flared up and I had to have a catheter put in and quite possibly might have to stay in for the rest of whatever time I have left. It has been difficult financially since I am no longer able to work our monthly bills, doctor bills, prescription bills out weigh our income by far not to mention gas, maintenance, wear and tear on the one dependable vehicle we have. Every one wants to help something like this and some of us can however most of us can't, if you can please help, if your can't please say a prayer for us, we are just asking for more time, Thank you and God Bless...
