Yvonne's Memorial College Scholarship

The Benyarko Family cordially invites beloved family and friends to join us in creating a college scholarship on behalf of our lovely Yvonne Benyarko, who recently passed away from a long battle with cancer.

As a family, we knew how important education was to Yvonne and wanted to continue this legacy after her passing. With that being said, instead of sending flowers to the funeral, our home, or the burial site, please consider donating to this fund.

Anyone who knew Yvonne knew how much she valued higher education and preached this to all youth which surrounded her. Yvonne, herself, was a true inspiration and model for others within her community. She was a first generation college student who came to the United States for her bachelor's degree. Later she returned to school and achieved her Master's degree; displaying true commitment to education and perseverance.

With this scholarship, her strength and values will impact the educational dreams of another highly-motivated individual.
