Yvesley Francois was part of the Downtown Miami family. He passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of January 13, 2018. Francois was well known throughout the Downtown Miami; shop owners, office workers, restaurants were touched by his infectious smile and warm personality. He led the team of Downtown Miami Ambassadors to create a vibrant downtown community through hospitality and security related services in Downtown Miami. The Ambassador team make suggestions on things to do, visit businesses to deliver information, provide directions and safe walks.
Francois was married to Katiana and they were proud new parents to 6-month old Tessa. Francois would share pictures of the baby with everyone. He was an awesome dad.
We started this Go Fund Me page to help the young family with funeral expenses and lift at least one burden from their shoulders. We would also like to help with Tessa’s future education expenses.
Francois was a gentle giant in our Downtown Miami community, a very special person. If you feel so inclined, we would appreciate your donation.
