Ski Trip to Japan

My name is Molly Kucher I am 17 years old and have been skiing for 14 years. I was born and raised in Sun Valley Idaho and grew up skiing. I have been a part of the ski team for about five years now(3 years alpine and now 2 years big mountain). Skiing is my primary sport that I devote all my extra time to. I have a true passion for it and feel so grateful that I am able to pursue it. I have always loved skiing and have been fortunate enough to travel every once in a while but strictly in the North West. This season will be my third season competing in Big Mountain, and last year I completely committed myself to the team and plan to do the same this year.

Going to Japan to ski would be an amazing life experience. Being able to experience a passion of mine like skiing in a whole new environment. I've only heard stories of the experiences people have had skiing in Japan but they all sound so epic. Spending a week there inserting myself into a whole new culture while pursuing my biggest passion would be an experience like none other. I think that being able to experience something like going to ski in Japan during my adolescence would help me see more of the world and understand what's happening in places other than just where I am. Along with the experiences, I would have it would also give me an opportunity to create a profile for myself by getting amazing footage and photos. This opportunity would help me tremendously in reaching my future skiing goals.
