Fire Damage Recovery Fund

Thank you everyone for your offers of charity and generousity. If you are reading this, you probably know I lost most of my possessions in an apartment fire. My building’s movers put a cardboard box on the stove and accidentally turned the stove on.

 I am currently in a furnished unit in my building so I do not need house wear items and some friends and colleagues have provided me with clothing. I do not know yet where I am going to live and I don’t have storage space.  At this point what would truly help is startup money before the insurance (hopefully) comes through with answers. 

Please do not feel obligated to give. There has been such an outpouring of generous offers from all of you so I am taking your advice and setting up a place where people can contribute in a way that would be helpful to me right now.
