Terry's Breath of Hope

My Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer almost 2 years ago and has been undergoing chemotherapy ever since.  This past week he and our family decided to go on a much deserved vacation to the OBX, one of his favorite places to be.  2 days into the vacation he started having difficulty breathing and began running a fever. 
On the evening of 3/30/16 he spiked a fever of 102 and was advised by his on-call oncologist to get to the nearest ER immediately. 
At the hospital it was found that he has double pneumonia and was immediately put on IV antibiotics as well as bi-pap with the possibility of needing a ventilator should his breathing not improve.   He was then transferred to a hospital in Chesapeake VA as the OBX hospital was not equipped to deal with all he has going on.  He is awaiting admittance to the ICU there and will be a patient for an undetermined amount of time.  Currently my mom will be staying down there with him but, being that we live in upstate NY and he is not stable enough to be transferred back home, so she will need to stay with him in VA. 
I am asking that you please find it in your hearts to pray, send positive vibes or donate to his cause as this will incur a large debt for my mother to attempt to stay out of state with her husband while he fights for his life  through all of this.  All monitary proceeds will go towards any expenses incurred while my parents are stuck  in VA and then, (hopefully) for his eventual transfer back home.  Also, they did drive to VA so gas, lodging and food is a large concern.
