Yummzy: The Low Carb Desserts Revolution

At Yummzy, we believe that food should be inclusive, allowing everyone to savour delicious treats regardless of their dietary requirements or lifestyle. For years, we have been dedicated to providing you and your loved ones with gourmet desserts and savouries that are keto, vegan, gluten-free, low in carbohydrates, sugar-free, yeast-free, and high in protein with no nasties. We take pride in being the first in the UK and Europe to offer such a diverse range of options.

All our delectable creations are baked in-house, using cherished recipes passed down from our grandmothers and family, but with modifications to accommodate various dietary needs. Whether you're a dessert lover, a fitness enthusiast, or someone with specific health considerations like diabetes or celiac disease, our treats are crafted to be both delicious and suitable for you. We never compromise on quality, using only the cleanest and finest ingredients, natural colours, and no preservatives. Our commitment has landed us numerous high profile and prestigious awards including FFFA (Free From Food Awards) gold and silvers and most recently, the Health & wellbeing Award’23.

Ethics are at the core of our business. We strive to be sustainable in every way possible, employing and training local staff, offering fair wages, utilizing recyclable packaging, and supporting independent suppliers and family-owned businesses whenever feasible.

We have a deep passion for making the world a better place, but we can't do it alone. As a small family business with potential for growth, traditional funding options are not viable for us. That's why we need a few more heroes to support our cause!

What support do we need?

Since November 2018, we have steadily built our reputation, gaining recognition and trust not only in the UK but also internationally. Before the unforeseen closure of our café due to the pandemic, we were exploring franchising opportunities in two countries outside the UK. Furthermore, we often receive requests from our customers to open cafes closer to their locations in different parts of the UK or supply their local health stores.

Thanks to your generous contributions and the loyalty of our repeat customers, we have expanded our product range, introduced popular items like ice creams and low-carb bread, strengthened our social media presence, and launched a brand-new website that enables deliveries and subscriptions across London and nationwide. However, we have so much more to offer our customers, including:

- Expanding our product range and reach: The demand for our products has surpassed our expectations, particularly for low-carb, sugar-free, and keto options, as well as vegan, gluten-free, and coeliac-friendly treats. We aspire to meet this growing demand by introducing our products to artisan supermarkets and other outlets

- Bigger, Better Premises: Reopening of our eatery/ cafe in a more accessible location that will in turn enable us to scale up. Our premises in Greenwich, London, was our starting point; however, parts of that journey have been hard on us including leaving it sooner, due to unresolved roof ingress. To expand further, we need to move into safer and bigger premises to enable us to continue with stability and scale up to meet demands, as well as making our products available in specialist health grocery stores and other outlets.

With our gourmet, high-quality, and inclusive offerings, we have brightened the darkest and some of the most challenging periods of lockdown and before!

- Between £100 and £500: A lucky dip selection of 6 treats and a 10% discount for three months.

- Between £500 and £1,000*: Two Yummzy mugs with beverages, a lucky dip selection of 6 treats, and a 10% discount for 6 months.

- Between £1,000 and £4,000*: A monthly Yummzy lucky dip box of 4, a 15% discount on all orders for one year, and a free cooking class with our founders.

- Between £4,000 and £10,000*: A monthly Yummzy lucky dip box of 6, a 20% discount on all orders for one year, and a choice between a free cooking class with our founders or a feature on our YouTube channel with our founders showcasing your favourite recipe.

- Above £10,000*: A 20% discount on all orders for two years, a feature on our YouTube channel with our founders highlighting your favourite recipe, and your logo displayed as a sponsor on our website.

- For those outside the UK who wish to be part of the Yummzy journey and contribute to our success, we will plant a tree on your behalf for every £100 donated. For example, a £500 contribution will result in the planting of five trees.
