Yul Monta Brown Memorial Fund

On August 14th, 2018, Henry County, Georgia was given the news that former City Council member, Henry County High School assistant football, wrestling and lacrosse coach Yul Monta Brown had passed away after a lengthy battle with illness. Coach Brown, an alumni of Henry County High School, believed in giving back to the community that had given so much to him. His love was not for just sports, but for the student athletes. 
Serving as a community coach at his beloved alma mata, Monta's only desire was to see those student athletes that came after him accomplish something within their lives. Monta wanted HIS COMMUNITYto be as proud of the student athletes he came in contact with each day by helping each understand discipline and hard work.  He strive to teach our players 'success is only a step away' and the first step is yours to take . 
Not only did Monta give his time to our athletes, he was always there to assist our athletic teams & students in need by giving of his own finances to make sure all of the Henry County High School athletes had equality every day. 
Henry County class of '82 graduate Dana Lemon wants to ensure that his giving will continue for years to come by establishing this fund for the athletes at Henry County High School. 
We ask that you please give to this fund to help us insure that our student athletes continue to be on that equal playing field with the same values and principles that Monta taught our kids. All donations are tax deductible and donors can request a 'letter of donation' from Henry County High School's Athletic Department upon request.
