Yukon Middle School Overdrawn Lunch Accounts

Yukon Middle Schools have a debt on their lunch accounts why?

we are aiming to raise *2500* this isn’t the full amount but it will put a significant dent in outstanding balances. 

Give a dollar if you can! 

-this is a one time gift to the students guardians. This is not a permanent solution. 

-not all guardians filled out the free and reduced lunch paperwork. Frustrating but no reason to ignore this need.

-all students are fed regardless of their balances

-there are other food programs in our community that benefit students. 

-government shutdown is putting strain on already difficult situations

-we’ve contacted YMS and have worked through how to get this money to the overdue accounts.

To expand on this a bit. I saw this need and thought why not at least ask. We’ve been in the position of struggling especially after all the holidays. I see families in the community struggling with food security. I figured I could find $20 bucks to help a couple of kids and thought some others might be in the same mindset. Even a Dollar or two make a big difference! Thank you for your consideration!
