Hi, I’m Earth — or Yujene in the ballroom scene.

I am 24 years old and have been transitioning for 12 years. As a trans woman living in Thailand, I have been working hard to survive on my own — without any help from my biological family. But with the current economic situation, it has become increasingly difficult for me to carry everything alone.

I am the eldest sister in my biological family and the leader of Thailand’s ballroom scene. I’ve always tried to be a source of strength — not only for myself, but also for the younger people in my community. Over the years, I’ve helped my trans sisters who moved to Thailand or visited here, guiding them with their living arrangements and making sure they feel safe and welcomed. I’ve also extended my support to friends across Asia whenever I could.

As someone many see as strong and independent, asking for help in public is not easy for me. But I am choosing to be vulnerable because I need your support — to cover my living expenses and my medication, as well as food, and other everyday essential needs that I can no longer afford.

Your kindness will not only help keep me going, but will also allow me to continue being a source of care and strength for others in my community.
