Help Ryan Recover

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Ryan Lay needs our help.  He has struggled with addiction for years and recently suffered a great tragedy.  His brother, roommate, and best friend was tragically killed by a drunk driver 2 months ago.  Immediately, Ryan has refused to get behind the wheel when drinking as a result, but he can’t seem to shake the desire to drink.  Recently he was too intoxicated to be served. He blacked out and suffered a concussion having no recollection of how or why. His heart is ready for change.  The first step is admitting you have a problem.  Apparently, the second step is seeking funding to help solve it.  Inpatient treatment is $23,000.  He doesn’t have it.  Are you willing to actualize your purpose in life by making a difference, showing compassion, and being useful?  Can you spare $10 (lunch out) or $100 (concert tickets)?  Can you spare $1000?  If each does a little, he will get the help he needs.
