We are 3D printing visors to protect or health workers                                                                                                                 Please help us to get to 2000!

We are working with M-SPARC/Bangor University and NWT (North Wales Tech) to manufacture PPE/visors components  that will protect our NHS workers at Ysbyty Gwynedd,  other hospitals under Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board as well as front line workers in our community.

We are grateful to Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn County Council who provided funding to Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi teachers to have 3D printers and filament enabling us to manufacture the visor components at home. The components are then delivered to our M-Sparc hub for further processing; decontamination, assembly, quality control and distribution.

So far we have enough filament to make 700 visors!

Your YUC teachers are busily working away at manufacturing, but once we reach 700 visors our  filament will run out. 
Can you help us to keep making? Can you help us to buy more filament so that we can support our front line workers?

Each visor component only costs 38 pence! 

We need £500 to buy enough filament to reach our total of 2000 visors!
