Help after Car Accident

Dear family and friends of Kelly Long,
10 days ago Kelly was in a terrible head on collision. She was on her way from her apartment in Baltimore to visit family back home in Buffalo. About 2 hours into her drive, it started to downpour and the roads became covered in pools of water. Before she had a chance to pull off the road, she hydroplaned over the median into oncoming traffic. Her car flew into the air, collided with a pickup truck (that had been carrying a ride on lawn mover) head on, and flipped several times. Kelly had to be rescued from her crushed car by the jaws of life, and mercy flighted to the nearest medical center in Hershey, PA (Penn State Medical).
She suffered from a broken pelvis in all 4 places, several fractures and contusions all over her body, and is in severe pain. She needed to have surgery right away to place a screw in her back in hopes of stabilizing her pelvis so she could walk again. Surgery went well, but it will be a very long, painful road to recovery ( several months).
Her friends and family have to drive over 5 hours to take care of her, as well as her mom taking off time from work to stay with her. The hospital wouldn't provide a medical transfer home to Buffalo, so she is currently in an inpatient rehab center hours away in Hershey.
This support will help with all of her medical expenses, the very pricey mercy flight, as well as medical supplies such as a wheelchair, walker, and small ramp. She also will be missing months of work at her new job because of the extensive recovery .
Kelly is the most selfless person we know. She is always the first person to offer a hand when someone is in need. We would like to ease the financial burden that she is enduring, to make her long recovery a little easier. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated!
