Hurricane Florence Assistance

Hurricane Florence has wreaked havoc on my town, New Bern NC, and left a big mark on my home and family as well. Look closely at this photo of my home and you can see the tree on the roof. Several huge trees fell on our property, one punched a hole through the roof and ceiling in my daughters room leaving water damage from the constant rain, and it’ still raining. Wind and hail deductibles for home insurance in coastal N.C. counties are extremely high. We are hard working, state employees and my husband works an extra job as a contract employee so that we can live comfortably. We do not ask or expect handouts...ever! However this time, for those that have asked how they can help us, we are accepting any monetary contributions so that we can get our home back in livable condition. Please do not feel obligated or judge. All funds will go to help repair our home and any leftover will stay locally to assist those that have lost so much more.
