Ysgol Hen Felin's - Re-arranged Music Festival

2020 was the year that Cover'd Up - Wedding & Party band chose Ysgol Hen Felin as their charity of the year.
Having worked with the school before, it was an easy decision to make. Seeing the fantastic work between the dedicated staff and amazing pupils at the school was inspiring.
We took part in their first ever 'Live music festival' last year with big plans to recreate the event during the summer term of 2020.
Covid 19 has put a stop to many plans this year and has hit the wedding industry hard. The musicians you see performing in this video have all been affected this year with weddings cancelled, postponed and live performances forbidden.
Despite all of this, these companies have given up their time and services to be a part of this project with the aim of giving the pupils of Ysgol Hen Felin an opportunity to perform, as well as something to look forward to with a rescheduled music festival.
The pupils have missed out on a lot this year already. We want to make this festival bigger and better than ever before and continue to provide opportunities within the arts for these young people.
With your help, we can provide more musical opportunities next year for the pupils with live musicians and artists, musical workshops, recording opportunities and the transformation of their outdoor learning space into their own festival stage for the day.
